Trade Coordinator

We require a select few academics, that are mid-degree, looking for experience in management on their resume, being mentored on a part time basis, in critical thinking and cost benefit analysis, all while being able to pay down their student loans. We are a progressive company, growing and developing technology with the Canadian government inside a hybrid general contracting company. If you have moxie and drive, need to gain experience, and speak French (asset), you can change your future forever.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Processes requests for service and creates work orders

Source qualified contractors to serve the needs of retail customers for replacement and repair work

Orders parts and materials for the fulfillment of service requests

Provides administrative support for technicians in the field

Completes work orders in preparation for job costing ensuring the accuracy and completeness of billable components (hours, parts and material)

Other duties may be assigned

Ability to exercise sound judgment

Ability to adapt to a continually changing environment, learn new systems and techniques

Average 25 hours a week, between 7 am and 7 pm, Monday to Friday, in 3, 6 and 9 hour shifts, $12.00 to $14.00 a hour.

Trade Coordinator Supervisor

You will be employed full-time, working for customers of Byrne on Demand

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assisting Trade Coordinators as needed

Handling calls that require escalation

Mentoring of trade coordinators

Participate in client/customer relations
Trouble shooting … being able to understand and complete cost benefit analysis and risk assessment in day to day operations

Critique and isolate staff that are not following procedure or protocols

Reporting to call centre manager (CCM)
Shared 24 hour access for emergency system failure … shared responsibility and knowledge of any system failure for phones and computers.

Handling calls that require escalation

And such further or other duties or responsibilities as reasonably assigned to you from time to time.


QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
· A two-year college diploma and 3 to 5 years of glass and aluminum service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.


LANGUAGE SKILLS
· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

· French is an asset


REASONING ABILITY
· Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

· Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

 

COMPUTER SKILLS
· Ability to navigate, create and save files with various applications an MS Windows operating environment. Ability to use MS Word and MS Excel to create reports and spreadsheets.

· The Ability to learn new computer skills and master relevant applications.

· Ability to enter data and maintain records in a windows driven database environment.

· Ability to send and receive email with attachments.
